Paddle boarding & Kayak In Worthing

Apart from enjoying swimming on Worthing beach, you can rent a standup paddleboard (SUP) or kayak; a fun way to get out on the water and see Worthing from a different perspective.





You can rents boards from K66 a few doors down from Coast Cafe for £20 per hour (including a wetsuit and life jacket). You must have experience of sea paddleboarding to rent; if not, you can book a lesson with them.

K66’s Are open usually Tuesday to Sundays (and Bank Holidays) from 10am to 5pm (8pm on busier days). They close in winter.

Another option in Goring by the Sea ( a few mins drive away) is GLO Wellbeing which rents paddleboards on the beach and organise river SUP trips for those a little more adventurous!

Kite Surfing in Worthing

If you are even more adventurous, you can kitesurf or take lessons in Goring or Lancing. Goring is for advanced riders only because of the launching conditions. It’s a popular thrilling sport in this area where the wind is often up.

Bike Riding In Worthing

If you’d love to see more of the coastline along the beach & promenade, I recommend hiring some bikes.


You’ll find the orange Donkey bikes at various locations near the pier—unlock them using their app. pay for the time you use them and then return them to any official stand.

Skateboarding In Worthing


Skateboarding enthusiasts will love the skate parks in Worthing. Take your kids there to enjoy an adrenaline rush for free as they ride the ramps and rails. Worthing SkatePark is a popular spot for skateboarders of all levels, found in Homefield Park.

‘Splashpoint Leisure Centre by the beach is great for rainy days or cooler days.. Book sessions online ahead of time to enjoy their 25m pool refreshing swim, splash around with your family, or even take swimming lessons. There’s a car park there, Velo cafe for drinks & snacks and plenty of eateries around.

If you have younger children, Worthing's playgrounds are the perfect place for them to burn off some energy.


Gull Island Playground

You’ll find this gem just behind the beach where Coast Cafe, toilets, carpark, Beach House Park & Splash Point pool is. It has sand, swings, a roundabout and pirate ship and is next to a splash pad..great for cooling the kids down!

Waterwise Park

The Lido In Worthing

A sure way to delight your kids is a visit to the Lido amusement arcade where you can buy a wristband for hours of fun! From the classic 2p machines & racing games. No visit to Worthing is complete without a stroll along Worthing Pier that won ‘Pier of the Year’ in 2019.
